Rajya Stariya Bal Vaigyanik Pradarshani (RSBVP) 2026-27

The Vidyalaya invites students to participate in Rajya Stariya Bal Vaigyanik Pradarshani (RSBVP) 2026–27 by developing scientific models, innovative apparatus and investigative projects. Explore real-life problems, demonstrate scientific principles and present practical solutions under the theme “Science, Technology, and Innovation for a Sustainable and Viksit Bharat”.

Rajya Stariya Bal Vaigyanik Pradarshani (RSBVP) 2026–27 offers students an opportunity to demonstrate their scientific understanding, creativity and problem-solving abilities through models, investigations and innovative solutions.

The Vidyalaya-level exhibition encourages students to connect classroom learning with everyday challenges and explain how science, mathematics and technology can contribute to society.

THEME

Science, Technology, and Innovation for a Sustainable and Viksit Bharat

SUB-THEMES

  1. Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Better Life
  2. Green Energy & Environmental Conservation
  3. Mathematical Modelling and Computational Thinking
  4. Health, Hygiene, and Sanitation
  5. Indigenous Agricultural Practices
  6. Science for Rural Transformation
  7. Disaster Management

The sub-themes are suggestive. Students may explore other relevant areas connected with the main theme.

NATURE OF EXHIBITS

Projects may take the form of innovative or improvised apparatus, working models, static models, study reports or other suitable scientific exhibits. Each project should communicate its purpose, scientific basis, construction or method, and practical usefulness.

EXHIBIT INFORMATION — PROFORMA I

Participants should prepare the following information:

• Title of the exhibit/model and selected sub-theme.

• Names and classes of contributing students.

• Names of guiding teachers.

• School name, complete address and contact details.

• School type, affiliation and location category, where required.

• Nature of the exhibit and approximate display space needed.

• Any requirement for a darkened display area.

• Sources of inspiration and the nature of assistance received from teachers, parents, peers or others.

Write names and the exhibit title in BLOCK LETTERS wherever required in the prescribed form.

BRIEF PROJECT SUMMARY

Prepare a summary of not more than three lines explaining the project’s aim and the scientific principle involved.

PROJECT WRITE-UP — MAXIMUM 1,000 WORDS

Prepare the write-up using the following structure:

  1. Introduction
  2. Explain the problem or need addressed, the purpose of developing the exhibit and the scientific principle involved.
  3. Description
  4. List the materials used. Explain the construction, working or investigative method, and describe the project’s applications.
  5. References
  6. Acknowledge books, journals, magazines and other sources consulted while developing the project.
  7. Illustrations
  8. Include clear, labelled line diagrams showing how the exhibit works, together with close-up photographs of the exhibit.

FIVE-MINUTE STUDENT VIDEO

Prepare a five-minute presentation in which the student explains:

• The exhibit title and sub-theme.

• The purpose of the project.

• Its construction and working.

• The scientific principle involved.

• Its applications and usefulness.

The video should demonstrate the exhibit clearly and accompany the written documentation. A written report does not replace the video. Submit the video in the format and through the method specified by the organisers.

PHOTOGRAPHS AND DOCUMENTATION

Use clear photographs of the exhibit. Student and guide-teacher portraits are not required as exhibit photographs. If physical photographs are requested, keep them separate from the write-up, avoid pinning or pasting them, and identify them with suitable descriptions.

ORIGINALITY DECLARATION

Prepare the Certificate of Originality with signatures of all contributing students and guiding teachers. State whether the exhibit is original creative work or a modified form of an existing design. Clearly acknowledge existing ideas, references and assistance received.

ONE-DAY SEMINAR TOPICS

  1. STEM for Climate Action
  2. Non-Communicable Diseases: Causes and Preventive Measures

PARTICIPATION AND GUIDANCE

Interested students should contact the concerned Science or Mathematics teacher to discuss their ideas and obtain the prescribed forms. Students should be prepared to demonstrate their exhibits and explain the scientific reasoning in their own words.

Participation, submission deadlines and selection for subsequent stages will follow the current school and organising-authority instructions.
